Bio: Born in Sacramento California and raised in Southern Oregon, Lillian currently lives and works in Cambridge, England.
Lillian Graduated in 2007 from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelors of Art in Studio Art and Degree Minor in Art History.
At University Lillian traveled and studied in Greece, Winchester UK, as well as in London. She studied a variety of subjects (as is customary at American Universities) for example: English, Philosophy, Sociology, French as well as Business and Math statistics to name a few. She draws on her broad experience in her work and professional practice.
Lillian is a professional creative with skills in photography, retouching, graphic design, web developing, the fine arts, crafts as well as a teaching and writing.
Lillian is currently working full time as a Photography and Digital Illustration Instructor at Cambridge Regional College.
Photography: Trained in film based Photography but equally expert in digital, Lillian's subject specialism is landscape and night photography. Lillian is a specialist in alternative process photography and is highly skilled in digital photo retouching and is a expert in studio based photography. Lillian worked as a photography technician for 8 years before becoming a photography lecturer since in August 2016.
Digital Design: Lillian has freelance experience, she currently works with retail store SIX/SEVEN and jewellery brand BOET; developing websites, logo design, photo-retouching, social media marketing as well as graphic design for print and the web.
Craft: Lillian has been creating soft sculpture animals since 2012. Currently you can purchase work at the gallery Cambridge Contemporary Crafts, special orders can be purchased on Etsy. You can find information on the brand on her Facebook page.
Teaching: Lillian has taught on a variety of subjects across several vocational college level courses. She has lectured on BTEC Level 3 Photography, Graphic Design, Vis Com, and Print based media. BTEC Level 1 Art, GCSE Photography, Business skills as well as teaching leisure courses in Digital and film based Photography. Volunteer: Lillian is currently involved in a project with The Museum of Cambridge whereby she is principal lead on a digitisation project documenting and digitising the journals and notes taken by the museums first curator Enid Porter.
